Description
Cat Haven is a Non-Profit 501c3, all cat education facility, located outside Kings Canyon National Park, in Dunalp, CA. We are looking to expand our team, as we continue to grow.
Qualified candidate will be asked to work with a small team, in extreme environments. Although mostly protected contact, full contact work is required for program animals, including harness walking an 110 pound cheetah.
Carnivore keepers are responsible for the daily husbandry, including training and enrichment, of 37 exotic cats. In addition, habitat maintenance, off-site presentations, holding area repairs, and public area up-keep is expected. Keepers must be comfortable with public speaking, and be knowledgeable on exotic cat conservation.
Keepers must be flexible, and willing to work weekends and holidays. A constructive attitude, that enables positive communication between all departments is a must.

Education and Pre-requisites
3 years experience working with large carnivores,
a 2 year degree in an animal related field and
experience with operant conditioning and enrichment is preferred.
However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation and benefits
Pay will be based on experience.
