Description

Out of Africa Wildlife Park is seeking a tram driver to shuttle visitors throughout a 104-acre animal preserve. Shuttle drivers are also responsible for directing visitors to shows and are expected to provide accurate information about a collection of over 300 animals. Position is currently part time with a schedule of Monday-Thursday (9:30-4:30). Full-time employment may be available in the near future.

Education and Pre-requisites

High School Diploma required. Selected applicant must be able to handle the physical requirements of an outdoor, labor intensive position and must be willing to learn to drive a large, two-car shuttle. Must be able to stand, stoop, and lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and will be required to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Background in customer service and a valid driver’s license are required.

Compensation and benefits

$11/hr. plus tips.
