Description
Seeking a mature individual with commitment to animal welfare, productivity and the Animal Care Team. Works well both independently and as a member of the Animal Care Team. Able to follow both written protocol and verbal direction. Must be able to provide complete, succinct yet detailed documentation. Must extend professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Education and Pre-requisites
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Zoo Technology or Science, Animal Science, Wildlife Studies or related field. (2) previous internships at accredited zoological facilities. Previous paid employment at an accredited zoological facility preferred. Previous interpretive and falconry experience preferred.
Compensation and benefits
$11.96 per hour. 2 weeks paid vacation. Health insurance, life insurance and retirement packages. Vested in retirement system after 5 years. Annual longevity check (issued in Nov.).
