Description
Basic Duties Include:
Making diets for all the animals that receive fruits and vegetables, washing dishes, Picking up and sorting through produce donated from local facilities, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, maintaining organization in the walk in cooler and refrigerator, restocking the kitchen and competing diet prep for the following day, and inventorying items and notifying supervisor of orders needing to be made.
Education and Pre-requisites
Individual must have a basic understanding of the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables. Must be able to work in a fast paced working environment and meet deadlines so keepers have diets when needed. Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day with frequent stooping and bending. Must be able to routinely lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation and benefits
Pay determined based on experience.
