Denver Zoo’s Department has an opportunity for a full time Carnivore Zookeeper to provide the safe exhibition, handling, feeding, and husbandry of animal species at the Zoo. The carnivore division includes felids, ursids, pinnipeds, and a variety of small mammals. We are currently looking to fill an open position that will support the entire collection but will primarily work with tigers, leopards, and bears. The position requires excellence in husbandry skills, active participation and contribution to behavioral management, and daily public interactions. Each applicant should specify on their application their particular experience with these taxa, behavioral management experience, and public interaction experience.
