Description

The Customer Relations Manager Administrator provides a broad range of information services in support of development efforts. The CRM Administrator is responsible for the zoos database system (Centaman /Altru) and ensuring all processes are configured optimally, helping maintain reliable, accurate, and consistent data to perform data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position will provide user support and works very closely with the membership and finance teams and Chief Development Officer.

Our comprehensive compensation package includes Medical/Dental/Vision, Employee Assistance Program, 401k, 10 Paid Holidays, Paid Sick and Paid Vacation time on an accrued basis. The minimum pay for this position is $46,314. Offers will be based on the successful candidate’s experience.

Essential Functions

Performs all database administration and supervisory functions, including database maintenance, security, duplicate record merging, clean-up tasks, and quality control audits
Sets up and works with all other departments to set up programs, events, ticket types, queries, reports, and campaigns
Assist with member statistics, membership revenue, expense, and budget tracking
Designs, builds, and maintains reports, dashboards, and other strategic information portals for zoo teams
Provide technical support to all Centaman /Altru users
Train all users on the fund development software ensuring consistency in data entry
Oversee data entry activities to ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate processing, acknowledgement, and fulfillment of contributions
Responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures regarding the use of the database are correctly followed
Create and maintain policies and procedures related to constituent records management, data entry, processing, and gift acceptance
All other duties as assigned

Education and Pre-requisites

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a closely related field
5 or more years of database fund development software administration in a nonprofit setting
High level of proficiency with CRM software including Altru
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of computer office applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with administering Microsoft SQL
Valid California drivers license and a clean driving record.
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills required. Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) communication skills a plus.
Ability to work evenings, weekdays, weekends, holidays on call when necessary

Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Color perception is also required.

Hand and finger dexterity sufficient for typing and other administrative tasks.

Work Environment

This position regularly works with others including Zoo executives and employees, Zoo guests and community members, media and government officials.
The position primarily functions indoors, with frequent exposure to outdoor Zoo environments and external events.
Occasional local travel and out-of-town travel required.
