Beautiful new state of the art dog and cat pet resort and animal Gardens Exotic animal petting zoo is seeking animal interns.Learning the basics of running a business is part of this hands-on position. Internship also features training in our Exotic Animal department. Feeding and caring for camels, mini-pigs, monkey, raccoons, skunks, bobcats, foxes, deer, llamas, goats, donkeys and much more! This internship is perfect for future vet technicians who want to specialize in vet care for small domestic (dogs/cats) animals. If you desire to work, learn and gain hands on experience in this industry this is the perfect position for you.
Education and Pre-requisites
Must have basic knowledge of animal care.
Compensation and benefits
Interns are not salaried however, we offer a $50.00 per week stipend, full training and on-site dorm style housing. APPLICANTS MUST WORK IN BOTH DEPARTMENTS, domestic and exotic animals. Our training has allowed many of our interns to secure permanent jobs with us, and other similar type facilities.
