Description
The internship program is designed to help expand your knowledge and experience to capture as much experience as possible in the 12 weeks that you are here. There are many items that are covered in the program, including, but not limited to:
Cleaning enclosures, bowls and buckets
Preparing animal diets/feeding cats
Enrichment for the cats
Helping with special events/tours
Building new enclosures/maintenance
Observation of animal training sessions/medical care/daily behavior
Record keeping
Education and Pre-requisites
Internship requirements-
Must be 18 years or older
Must have completed or working towards a degree in an animal related field
Must be of good health and physical endurance
Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds
12 week requirement
Compensation and benefits
Biweekly stipend of $50; on-site housing available
