Description

WeC is a non profit conservation /education facility in Southern California. We house approximately 50 educational animal ambassadors including both raptors and mammals of many different species. The job will include multiple responsibilities: overseeing staff and volunteers, nutrition, feeding, cleaning, inventory management, paperwork and documentation, husbandry, and personally assisting the director. Project Management, budgeting, and time management.

Education and Pre-requisites

This position requires at least 10 years experience with multiple species of exotic animals including large and small carnivores and raptors. We require a individual with extensive organizational skills and high level of attention to details. We are looking for an experienced manager with excellent people skills who can take direction and can give direction.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation will be an hourly wage and commensurate with experience.
There is possibility of housing benefits after the first six months probationary period.
