Description
Wild Wonders is looking for a passionate progressive individual to join our team. You will play an integral role in the care, and well being of our diverse animal ambassador collection and contribute to our mission of Rescue, Educate and Conserve. Responsibilities include: daily care and feeding
monitor health
administer medications and assist with minor procedures
participate in training
maintain enclosures and create Behavioral Enrichment
present fun education programs on and offsite with Ambassador animals
ensure compliance with safety and welfare protocols
other duties assigned by Leads
Education and Pre-requisites
Zoology or similar degree preferred
prior experience(paid or non paid) in a zoological setting
ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions and steep terrain, perform physically demanding tasks.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays and irregular hours if needed.
clean driving record
Compensation and benefits
starts at 18.00/hr plus presentation bonuses
ability to go full time
