Description
Duties include but not limited to:
General Animal Care and other zoo keeping duties
Off -site and onsite programs must be able to handle animals safely and present in a educational yet entertaining way
Promoting the mission of the program
Able to work with interns and volunteers
Animals include a variety of small to large exotics and farm animals including ponies.
Able to follow directions, able to drive a truck and trailer if needed.
Ability to give tours and oversea special encounters and on-onsites at the zoo.

Education and Pre-requisites
Must have previous zoo keeping and animal presentation experience
previous farm animal and horse experience a plus but can be trained
animal handling and training experience
able to work hard
able to do early days and late nights if needed
Compensation and benefits
$320-$360 weekly DOE
