The Pandamatenga Bird Abatement Program is looking for 5 interns for the upcoming 2016 (March – July) cropping season. This program, sponsored by Botswana’s Ministry of Agriculture, uses trained falcon’s to protect the country commercial sorghum fields from red-billed quelea. Interns will be provided with airfare, housing and stipend hosted by African Falcon Services. This is a way for keepers to gain valuable bird of prey handling and free flying experience, while helping to protect Botswana’s staple food source.
