Description
We have two openings for Zookeepers. Do you have the following qualities?
1) 4 year college degree in Biology, Animal Science or Zoology?
2) Able to work hard taking care of the animals? This includes cleaning and feeding the animals and minor enclosure repairs. Heavy lifting is essential. Can be trained on tractors and such.
3) Have a pleasant customer service personality? Our keepers do Keeper Chats, animals encounters and tours.
Education and Pre-requisites
4-year college degree in Biology, Animal Science or Zoology
Compensation and benefits
$16/hr.
Health Benefits: half of the premium paid by the zoo.
Life Insurance, disability insurance, dental insurance paid by employee.
One-week paid vacation
One week paid sick time (doctor appointments and sick only)
